I have been teaching in the North Somerset area for the last 16 years and I was the deputy-head at a local school for 7 years.

Before that, I spent 5 years at an international school in Germany.

I set up On-Target Tutoring in September 2023 and have greatly enjoyed meeting and working with lots of students and their families ever since. I always endeavor to make my tutoring sessions productive and fun in equal measures.

When not tutoring I enjoy football, cricket and upcycling furniture. 

I have over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience at a number of schools in different locations throughout England.

I am a qualified specialist teacher with a wealth of knowledge and  experience working with young people. I can offer targeted bespoke teaching for 7 - 16 year old students, to fit their strengths and difficulties.

I am a qualified specialist teacher with a wealth of knowledge and  experience working with young people. I can offer targeted bespoke teaching for 7 - 16 year old students, to fit their strengths and difficulties.

I am an experienced SEND coordinator and specialist, with knowledge of the KS2 and KS3 curriculum, including GCSE English language/literacy (all exam boards).

I have always forged good partnerships with parents and have a genuine desire to instil curiosity and love of learning.
